The National Youth Christian Sports Association {NYCSA} was developed to give youth basketball players around the nation the opportunity to play in a structured environment with a prestigious feel during the travel ball season.
With the help of local volunteer coaches & parents around the country, the NYCSA over the next four (4) years looks to regionalize the country, so we can crown Regional Champions in both Boys & Girls (17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, & 10 under divisions), in sixty - four (64) counties, in thirty - two (32) states, leading up to the most prestigious national tournament in the country, culminating with National Champions in each grade division! Just think that over five thousand (5000) teams, coming together to form one of the best youth travel basketball alliance in the nation.
We know that the cost to travel limits kids to play in tournaments each week during the spring, but with the birth of the NYCSA, teams can continue to play in our league over the travel ball season, stay within their community and get the feel of a NCAA playing format at the end of the season in the process! Our goal is to help volunteer basketball and cheerleading teams keep their teams together and extend their season from ten (10) games to twenty - four (24) games! This not AAU or Elite travel ball, just think, how great will it be for your players to have the chance to wear uniforms with their city's name, as they play for their hometown with a chance to win a Regional, State, or National championship! As you read more about our organization, you will see, we are basketball people, who understand the economics of the game, and look forward to you being part one of the best programs in the country.
What make a league prestigious? Its organization, dedication, quality awards, great venues, support of local middle school and private school coaches, and great teams! That's what we're all about, so come & be a part of the newest basketball experience in the country, welcome to the,
National Youth Christian Sports Association!
